Another Tuesday....

by foliedevoix @ Tuesday, 29. Jan, 2008 - 06:53:36 pm

Yay. Tuesday. Well, it's not so bad after all.....but German for an hour and a half solid..yawn. OK, I chose it as a subject, but the grammar and I do not get along!
My day was OK....still can't wait till Torchwood! I would put some images up, but I was really random and read the terms thing when I signed up, and apparently I don't have the right to put anything on here that's not mine? :??: Woooooooooooooooooooo!!
In music my friends and I are doing a performance soon - it's going a bit wrong. Do you know that Killers song: Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine? Well, we're doing that. Trouble is, half of my friends don't know the song, and we have no drummer. We have me on the clarinet, my friend on an acoustic - and my other two friends who don't know the song are singing it! It actually turned out better than I expected today - though we overran a bit. See, my pessimistic side is s-l-o-w-l-y disappearing. Practice, practice is all it takes. :>>
Bye bye - and I'll blog soon.

Sunday and ice-cream...

by foliedevoix @ Sunday, 27. Jan, 2008 - 07:13:39 pm

Sunday is ending, and the weekend has gone too quickly. If you take out the housework, playing on MySims and listening to Virgin radio - that just leaves me with my stupid homework. ONE piece, and it's taken me all weekend to do it. Mr. Evil ( :> ) always writes negative comments on my work - and I go to the trouble of writing up twice to make it look nice (or S'NICE! as the also evil Captain John in Torchwood says when he sees a poodle!) .Red pen all over my work..... :`( :'( . Oh well, I purposely tried to make my essay longer just so he can't say: "It's too short!"
Wow....music. I'm probably different to most people in my year in music taste - I love Madness....and loads of random 80's music I hear on Virgin radio. I get the feeling that they've put a lot more effort into their music than some of the stuff that's on nowadays. :P
On a different note - what a beautiful day it's been today! I guess my optimism is slowly creeping back into my life - or maybe it's the ice-cream I had. Probably not the latter, but it does make everything look nice. Maybe they should sell it as a cure for depression!
Right, I'm going to reply to the comments on my blog - I hardly ever reply, so I'll go do that...

Swimmin' Story!

by foliedevoix @ Saturday, 26. Jan, 2008 - 10:31:24 am

I have really got to stop this blog gap when I don't go on for about two weeks! I feel so ashamed that the blog devoted to how life can be crazy has been made to feel sane whilst it has nothing new on it. I think that's how it works on this blog - the more you go on it, the crazier it gets (Devil men?) ! :))
Friday......let's see, school was long and tiring and I couldn't WAIT for the weekend (if only Torchwood was repeated on BBC3 like the last series every weekend!), so I was finally glad to leave. I went swimming - which you think, yeah, it's good exercise. Yes, it is. Trouble was, all my wasted exercise was blown when I had fish and chips for tea. True, I didn't race up and down the pool counting my lengths, I just spent most of my time under this waterfall thing to see if I could breathe in the space where the water wasn't. I could, but then when I wasn't swimming - I was in the jacuzzi! I did swim sometime though.
Right, that's the blog for today - I've got homework to do - the only homework I got is....you guessed it, from Mr. Evil, who's just given me a dumb essay which won't even count towards my English cousework. Maybe he just likes handing out really hard, pointless essays for the fun of it? :??: I don't know.
Bye then!

Vroom....

by foliedevoix @ Sunday, 20. Jan, 2008 - 04:59:36 pm

Hi, I'm back from a weekend of eating curry, playing the Sims and doing coursework (and that evil homework from - you guessed it - Mr. Evil!)
For some reason the smilies have gone again from my computer editor blog thing, so the only ones I can do are the ones I remember. :)) Like that one. Though the one with the code : D D when put together NEVER works for me! :)
What's on my mind today is the thought of cars. I realise when I get older I might need to get around on something other than a bike or my own feet, but I'm a bit comfuzzled about the car. I mean, it looks like there's so much to do all at the same time. Looking at the road, changing gear, looking at the road signs and loads of other things - I wonder how people do it? Do they have to practice for ages and then it comes naturally? Do they forget what a sign is when they're on the road, or do they know them all off my heart? How do they know where the button for the radio is? All of these questions I don't get, so please if you can - let me know what it's like. Thanks...

Torchwood!

by foliedevoix @ Friday, 18. Jan, 2008 - 05:48:35 pm

:) Unbelieveable. Torchwood summed up in one word. The new series started on Wednesday, and I've only just got over the excitement of it.
Crazyrainbowblondie, Torchwood is about an ex-timetraveller who cannot die called Captain Jack, and he has a team called Torchwood. Together they solve mysteries and murders connected with aliens, shoot a lot and snog everyone they meet, practically. It's brilliant!!! 88|
I can't believed what happened in the new series though. Captain Jack having his face shoved along a row of shot glasses by his ex-lover, Owen being shot (again), Gwen paralysed (by lip-gloss!) and the mortal members of Torchwood being saved by Ianto the tea-boy (my favourite character!). Wow, oh wow, oh woooooooh! I couldn't get to sleep for hours because of the adrenaline in my body from the thrill of it.......can't wait till next Wednesday!
Only one thing is going to put me off - lots of coursework, and homework form Mr. Evil himself. I think the Xmas spirit has worn off slightly...
If anyone reading this loves Torchwood as much as I do, please let me know! Blogging soon...

I dunno...

by foliedevoix @ Tuesday, 15. Jan, 2008 - 07:44:57 pm

I'm not blogging as much as I do, and it's has completely made my brain go weird, but not as weird as this:
I was ending my clarinet lesson today when I was finishing my piece of music. I had to do this really long note on my clarinet, when my head started to feel weird. I then felt dizzy and my hearing faded for a second, until my teacher said "Are you OK?" and it was alright. My teacher went to collect some music for me and I packed my clarinet away. Then I felt like I was going to faint - at least that's what it felt like to me because I've never fainted before. I didn't though, and it passed. Nothing like this has ever happened before so if anyone knows anything, please tell me. Some people I've asked put it down to dehydration - but I dunno! :D The devil men, and now this....I haven't a clue really. :??: I'll blog back soon!

WOW, so exciting! (Maybe)

by foliedevoix @ Friday, 11. Jan, 2008 - 05:57:05 pm

Hi again. (Welcome to the Folie news blog - non-stop talks about random things from Torchwood's craziest fan. Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!)
Don't worry, I'm just hyper BECAUSE the weekend is here! ;D And because of Torchwood too....5 days to go! My goodness, I'm a bit obsessed. Everyone at school and probably on blog too is a bit tired of my stories of how I love the programme (let me know if you want me to stop. I probably won't, but at least then I'd know the truth! :lalala: ). I bought the only Torchwood poster I could find in the area, so half the stuff on my walls had to be moved to make room for it. I've got pictures of the Torchwood crew with me at school. In fact, as nothing happens in my science class, I secretly gazed at them all lesson. :**: - that's a sigh as dreaminess, by the way. It just fills me up with a really light feeling inside as I'm counting down the days to go! (:| You're probably going to think I'm crazy - well, you're right!)
Ok, got to go now, so keep blogging, people! :P

It happened again...

by foliedevoix @ Wednesday, 09. Jan, 2008 - 09:17:17 pm

Yes, read the title. The little devil men came back! :> Only once or twice since I've last blogged, but something must be happening in my brain for the weird devil men to be there. There actually on the inside of my eyes, and not my head like in dreams. Spooky, huh? :??: I'm fine, trust me! :D
OH MY GOODNESS! Only a week till the new series of Torchwood!!!! I'm so excited, as if you haven't have gathered: it's my favourite programme ever! 88| I saw a preview today (without sound coz the school computers are rubbish and don't have speakers!) and it looked so good. WOW! I was so excited, even P.E was good. I didn't score in football (actually I injured the opponents and my own team too, so I couldn't be blamed for foul play coz I don't do that!) but I managed a lopsided crappy kick that made the ball soar across half the pitch! It's always so cold in P.E.....
Anyway, I've got to go now, so Bye!
7 DAYS TO GO......................

A weird night in the life of Folie...

by foliedevoix @ Monday, 07. Jan, 2008 - 07:00:09 pm

Wow....I'm really sloppy at keeping up the blog this year (but please don't take me away from it!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! :D).
I thought I'd tell everyone about what happened in the early hours of this morning, so it was a crazy NIGHT. My doctor says I have some form of schizophrenia, which I've got under control, although my parents haven't told me all the details of what it is. Something about lots of forms of it, they said.
But in the morning, after a random dream about Harry Potter (don't ask me why!), these little demons came into my vision. I had my eyes closed, but they were there, and they started bobbing their heads at me and grinning evilly. IT WASN'T A DREAM! 88| It was spooky....woh, they were mean to me. Grrr...
Welcome marmiteontoast too to blogland! Hope you enjoy life here in the land of everything that goes on in my head.
Bye Bye as I'm about to go and look up Torchwood pics :>> . Oh, how I love them all in the TV programme addiction kind of way!

Lazy days and a crazy morning!

by foliedevoix @ Friday, 04. Jan, 2008 - 03:37:15 pm

Hi bloggers!
Wow, I thought the New Year was supposed to be about getting more active? Me, I've completely forgotten the internet existed these past however time periods. Days? Weeks? Years??? Well, not quite that much! :D
I have been slobbing out eating chocolate, playing MySims on my DS and drawing Torchwood (to make up the days till January 16th when the new series comes out!!). MySims is addictive, actually...
Those were the lazy days, but yesterday was my crazy morning.
My school planner AND the school website said I go back on the 3rd. So what did I do? I woke up early, got ready for school....walked ALL the way there - no signs of life. I stood there for about 5 minutes when a maths teacher went by and said (hiding a laugh): "School starts on Monday!"
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! 88|
How embarrasing. So I walked all the way back home.
At least there's two extra days holiday.
Happy New Year! ;)
