Le week-end (sort of)

by foliedevoix @ Friday, 30. Nov, 2007 - 05:51:36 pm

Yes, I've finished school for now! :D It's gonna be a good weekend: I'm going to put the Xmas decs up with my family, which is always enjoyable (though you have to keep taking tinsel out of your hair for weeks) and there's Torchwood tonight. Yeah, baby! as the popular kids say. ;D
I honestly don't know why I've written my article (#2 today) in French, but I'm not French in case you don't know, I just like the French language. J'adore francais, et je voudrais une glace, s'il vous plait....
Oh, wait, scratch that last part - I don't really fancy an ice-cream!:>>
Please, just one more thing before I go - please could you visit AmandaBlondy's blog for me? She doesn't have many friends online and she gets really miffed...please. She hasn't exactly written much, but she'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks! :D Bye!

Mush-pie!

by foliedevoix @ Friday, 30. Nov, 2007 - 02:19:31 pm

Righty ho, let's get this blog back into life. Three, two, one....BOOOOM! :)) OK, that was me getting my blog into gear....don't even ask me about starting a car. When I was little I used to think we were driving on the wrong side of the road when we went for a trip out! :>> I suppose that might have something to do with me winning the most gullible person on foliedevoix's blog * , but I guess that's just who I am! * Chosen by me so far....if people blog me with their tales of gulliblility I might stand down and offer them a placement. ;D
Anyhoooo, you're probably wondering why this article is entitled "Mush-pie". Because I felt like it! It also happens to be one of the names I give to my family's cat. Custard isn't too happy with "Mush-pie" because he ruins Custard's chance of being the loveliest pet in the house by being so utterly adorable! But at least Custard doesn't leave mog hair all over the carpet. Hah! 1-0 to Mr. Cus! :P
Right, I've got to get out of here as the bell for lunchtime is nearly up. :'( So long!

Woh...sleepy

by foliedevoix @ Wednesday, 28. Nov, 2007 - 08:48:06 pm

Hi all (and a big hi to my latest friend!!!) :D
Phew...I'm knackered! No, I've not been doing a marathon (even though the only thing I can do in P.E is run!), though I have been TRYING to do rugby today. WHY WHY WHY??? :??: I can't stand getting caked in mud whilst a dozen people come charging at me.....no thank you! 88|
I'm worn out because I'm still recovering from the Xmas concert yesterday - three hours of waiting for other acts to belt out random tunes, and then three mins of the Magnificent Seven theme with me and my friends in Woodwind Band. :-/ It went hopelessly wrong in my opinion but honestly I did squeak on my clarinet like a mouse/doorhinge in need of some oil!
:))
Oh, I'm so happy and it's thanks to Miss crazyrainbowblondie that I am...so thanks!
Well, I'm off to drink my (lukewarm :. ) Horlicks, so goodbye!

King Kong!

by foliedevoix @ Saturday, 24. Nov, 2007 - 10:33:23 pm

Hi all,
woh have I slobbed today! :D
I did some shopping after the jeans fit I had (see previous blog 4 more details) and felt better so I bought some Maltesers and slobbed out with my family watching King Kong. I hadn't seen it before - actually I got given it for my birthday (ages ago) and I finally got round to watching it. It was long, but worth it, though more people died than an episode of Eastenders and Torchwood put together. And the giant cockroaches - eeeew! but the rest was great.
At least the film didn't give me ulcers (which are still throbbing - ow!! ) unlike the Maltesers, but I'm glad I watched it.
:>> I'm going shopping tomorrow! I saved up all my pocket money to get people presents 4 Xmas so it'll be a lot of hunting around for bargains!
Well, I got Custard (my canary) his food, and I'm pretty much knackered, so I'll be off to listen to K.K Slider the singing dog  on Animal Crossing b4 I go to sleep. :zz: See ya!

Saturday...

by foliedevoix @ Saturday, 24. Nov, 2007 - 01:06:57 pm

Welcome to Saturday those bloggers who are early risers and not, like most people I know, lie in bed till gone half 3 in the afternoon. :zz: I would, but Custard the Canary wakes me up about half 8 every weekend for some random reason - don't ask me why coz I don't know.
Oh, Torchwood rocked last night! It wasn't at all gory, which was very unusual :??: but they did include guest star Steven Meo (I think that's his name anyway) who was from Grownups on BBC3. It was a very strange programme, but it wasn't like I watched it every week. I usually just watch stuff coz it's funny! :)) :)) :))
I'm really not in the mood for laughing at the moment coz I'd just done a whole batch of ironing for my parents (Me? Ironing? Yes, it does happen 88| !) and as a reward I'd just sat down at the computer to blog -when the phone rings. In my rush to answer it, I knock off the mug of squash that my dad always keeps on the edge of the table, answer the phone...and it's a wrong number. >:-[ And to make it even worse, my jeans are now covered in squash, and my parents won't let me change out of them as they say it's my OCD telling me to get out squash-smelling spattered jeans. CAN YOU BLAME ME??? :**:
They're nice parents really, but as a teenage girl, you just have to get out of stained jeans and into another pair - you know what I'm saying, right?
Hmmm.................at least I'm going shopping tomorrow so I'll find some Vanish or something. :-/ Bye!

It's Friday...and Torchwood!

by foliedevoix @ Friday, 23. Nov, 2007 - 09:52:55 am

I am so ashamed of myself for not writing in my blog for weeks. Is is it weeks? I've lost count. :( I've been revising for my Science GCSEs which are over for now, but I am really annoyed at the person who invented Physics. Why do they make the questions so unanswerable? :??: I just don't get it, but at least I had a 1 in 4 chance of getting a question right as it was multiple choice.
Phew, the exams are over, and I can go back to blogging. :p I've really missed my friends....the only mates who like my poems and comment on my negative attitude to life! ;D Thankyou!
And even better still...Torchwood is back on!!!
How I love the alien-squishing, crime-busting, adrenaline-fuelled crew of Torchwood! AmandaBlondy and I were talking about it - she thinks Owen is the nicest-looking. For me, it's Ianto. Blush blush blush - no, I don't fancy him, I just think he's cute. Honestly.
Right, got to go, I've been allowed computer time in form but it's not very long so bye!

How hopeless I am...

by foliedevoix @ Friday, 16. Nov, 2007 - 08:45:35 am

I can't believe it! I've neglected my blog for so long, but I'm back! I blame the Year 7's at school who feel they need a library computer every day to make a Powerpoint Presentation or go on some crappy website or other - leaving no computers free. And I also blame myself for watching too many episodes of the Muppets instead of expressing my mind's speeches onto the internet. Wah! :'(
I do love them Muppets. They're so muppety....I love Beaker and Rolf the dog (bit strange - ME, liking DOGS???? 88| ) and I also love those lizards that start off really cute, but then turn into dangerous, psychopathic, devilled, fanged ones that try to eat you. Sounds like me long ago, except for the psychopathic part! :)) I can still feel the horns on my head....
Oooh! I've got some interesting news about my canary, Mr. Custard himself. I always thought he only sings at weekends when I'm there, but 1. I found out he does it every morning nonstop from 7 till 12
and 2. He probably doesn't sing when I get home from school because.....HE'S KNACKERED FROM DOING IT ALL DAY LONG!!!! :P :>>
Oh well, time to go to school - it's Children in Need so it's non-uniform (Well, we have to go in spots or multicoloured clothing, but what the heck) ! Yes! My sister is doing a sponsered silence so, good luck to you!
Bye Bye, and I WILL keep in touch!

11th November...

by foliedevoix @ Sunday, 11. Nov, 2007 - 05:40:19 pm

I haven't blogged for days now....I've been pigging out on Maltesers and watching the Muppets. Sorry....I'm just in love with both of them(Sweetums is so cute!).
I'm taking a break from insanity to remember the soldiers that fought for our benefit during the wars.
I'm remembering now as I was shopping at 11 o'clock because I lost the time....my phone doesn't change automatically so it's still a hour ahead! :-/ It's one of those phones that basically just makes phone calls, sends texts and has a couple of basic games....I don't really need a phone that has the internet when I can do that right here!
Going back to the topic today...I wish the families, friends and descendants of those who lost their lives and suffered that they will feel better and that I'm thinking of them. I know my Nan said that either her Dad or her Grandad was killed in the war (I'm not sure because she's quite ill) so if you can see this - my great or great great grandad - then I'm thinking of you.

I'm so sorry...

by foliedevoix @ Thursday, 08. Nov, 2007 - 06:56:53 pm

Ok, I messed up and didn't write on my blog for days..... :'( I'm so sorry. It's all been a bit hectic with my GCSE's - I've had after school German ( 88| eek, no, it's all right really!) which is loooooong. I've also had after school band where it's solid playing my clarinet (or my fire engine as AmandaBlondy says - she thinks that what it sounds like! ) where they won't let me pause for breath.
It doesn't help that my tongue was burnt already from a mug of Horlicks last night.....tasty, but HELL does my tongue hurt! :`( :`( :`(
Hmmm...........snore. :zz: This blog is acting really strange today, I remember my friend Usky (hi if you're reading! :) ) said that Blog was having problems....it's too slow today. Slow and overworked - that sounds like me! :))
Wahhahaha...I feel so random today. I made up a new word yesterday and it still hasn't caught on, but these things take time. I mean, my words are funky coz you can't get better than "Gunkify" and "Plebfish!" Plebfish means a complete and total nimrod/twit/idiot-of-the-year- nominee-2007 etc...
Anyway, got to go coz my tea is nearly ready - after all, if you've been making up words all day, that's gonna tire you out, isn't it? :??:

November...

by foliedevoix @ Sunday, 04. Nov, 2007 - 02:21:24 pm

I can't believe it's November already! My calendar still says August  , but it just doesn't feel like it to me. I mean, when I was little (r), I could always smell Autumnness in the air, and see conkers dotted about all over the place, but now, it seems that more and more tourists are coming to where I live, and bringing Summer back. Why won't they go away for the season and make us have those Autumny smells? :??: I haven't seen any conkers AT ALL, and the only thing that reminds me of Autumn is the fact we have a fire some evenings now. Hot...
Even the trees have leaves left! Ok, I'm very gullible (in fact my gulliblility is off the scale! >:( ) but I HAVE heard of Evergreens, so don't tell me that not all plants lose their leaves this time of year.
Hmm...school tomorrow. That's all I need really. When it DOES get cold, the teachers don't turn the heating on in the classrooms, and we're not allowed indoors at breaks. The only place where it's warm are the changing rooms in the Gym, and we don't really need that when we're sticky with sweat and boiling hot already. Grrr... U-(
At least the Spam Fritters (my netball team) managed to creep up from 4th place to 2nd through team spirit, good tactics and nice members, so it did have some good sides. Yayy!

Finally.....relaxation!

by foliedevoix @ Saturday, 03. Nov, 2007 - 11:36:37 am

At last, it's the weekend! :DD
Hooray. I was so glad to just sit back and watch Ghost last night ( No Torchwood - :## )
Ghost is one of my favourite films, so I really enjoyed seeing it again. I'd really like hair like Demi Moore had, but sadly, that's probably not going to happen. Sniffle...oh well. I don't know about you, but one of my favourite scenes is the potter's wheel one. Now, I'm not one of those people who does that kind of thing, how would I know - I'm only 14! 88| Check my profile out if you don't believe me. I just think that song and that scene were really sweet.
So, now I'm just going to relax, do a bit of homework, and go and watch the yearly firework display this evening - I'm really looking forward to that, too. Fireworks next to the beach on a November evening - heaven!
