Friday again...

by foliedevoix @ Friday, 16. May, 2008 - 08:37:04 pm

Yay.....Friday! It's another day of not doing anything after school has finished, unless you count listening to O.M.D's Best Of CD repeatedly, and trying to get some practice with my Art. Yawn................yeah, I feel kind of tired.....I guess it was just school in general.
Mabye I should just be random again - the number of comments I ended up with were HUGE! I think I'll do that!

Blue Square Premier Playoffs!

by foliedevoix @ Thursday, 15. May, 2008 - 07:28:44 pm

Woh.....Folie's been away with schoolwork, so that's my excuse (COUGH!), I mean, reason for not blogging. I always seem to miss a few days........then I write, then I miss a few.....etc! Yeah, I was getting behind with my Art, so it took me a few days to catch up.
GETTING BACK TO THE SUBJECT!!! Let's not have a repeat of last blog - what's wrong with that??? - SHUT UP!
That was just my typed out voice expressing its view on crazy blogging - well, what's wrong with kippers and reading the telephone directory backwards? - I told you to be quiet!!! Many a time out of boredomness I have read the dictionary, just to find random words and to find the official definition of schizophenia.......
Even bigger COUGH.
Yes, the Blue Square Premier play off final!
I'm off to Wembley to watch.....CAMBRIDGE!!!!
I've kept that secret on blog for some time  - I'm NOT, as some people might guess, a Norwich supporter because they are the Canaries, that's Custard's team - but I am a fan of Cambridge United. Amber Army! Amber Army! Wooooooooo! Go Cambridge!
Good Luck to Cambridge on Sunday, and hi to those Cambridge fans on blog!
Yay!

Is it me, or is it hot?

by foliedevoix @ Friday, 09. May, 2008 - 07:26:01 pm

Well, I've noticed the difference in temperature today, during my weekly disappearance for a few days (drama clubs and listening to eighties music are to blame). My French class were begging the teacher to let us have the lesson outside, as if we were outside, at least there would be a breeze, and we wouldn't have to stare at the classroom walls.
My Art classmates freaked me out today....one of the people on my table was painting with acrylics, and was picking dried red paint off the first copy of her painting. Another person got hold of a piece that had been picked off, shouted "Eww, look - a dead ladybird!" and then flicked it at me. I screamed!
Hehehehe...I'll get them back for that someday, not evilly of course. It was funny at the time, but I laughed back, which is a good sign, as a couple of years ago I would have burst out crying.
Well, not any more! Hahahahaha, O.C.D, your time for ruining my life is nearly over.
The weather.....the really annoying when I blog is that I always forget about the subject I'm supposed to be rambling about, and then ramble about something else.
And another thing (here we go, rambling again - what is this, a walking club?), the number of times I have to respell the things I've typed because they are messed up due to my typing. I told you I wasn't any good at computers.....anyone remember the Thoguths? It's a completely new Doctor Who bunch of aliens! Thoguths are really thoughts, but with the random thoughts I get, like random songs like "Where In The Hell Did You Go With My Toothbrush?" popping up whenever I'm not doing anything, no wonder they're aliens!
The weather.........at last! Is it just global warming, or does it usually get warm around this time of year? I don't really notice until I realise that everyone around me aren't weraing scraves and jumpers anymore.
Have a great Friday eve everyone............I'll be listening to O.M.D, because they ROCK! Yay.

Random randomness....

by foliedevoix @ Tuesday, 06. May, 2008 - 07:42:19 pm

Yay.....another random day in the life of Folie. Hmmm....ever had one of those random days where you just feel like being random? I have, but not today. It was, well.....it was.......NORMAL!
AAAAARGH! Nothing exciting or different happened today.
That scares me in a way....surely something random was said, but I didn't hear it? All I've had in my head all day was: "Hold my pie!" from I, Robot.
Hold my pie! Hold my pie! Hold my pie! Hold my pie!
HOLD MY PIE!!!!!
HOLD MY PIE!!!!
Hold my pie! Either hold the pie or wear the pie. Hold my pie!!!
Hold it.......now!
HOLD MY PIE!!

Actually, I feel a lot more random now....hehehehehehehehehehehehehehe.
Bwhahahahahahahaha!
Hohohohohohohohohohahahahahahawahooooooooooo!
EXTERMINATE!!

Hmmmmmm......hahahahahaha.

(The Clangers enter at this point, playing like crazy. Whoooop! Wheeeeeooop!)

Hold my pie.

Remember...randomness is the best!

Another photo!

by foliedevoix @ Monday, 05. May, 2008 - 09:15:48 am

OK, most people around here probably hate those little C'mon! creatures of the Vauxhall Corsa advert, but for some reason I happen to own some soft toys of some of them. Yep, that's how weird I am....it's not teddies that sit on my shelf, but random car advert dolls that squeak "C'mon!" at you when you squeeze them.  Bwhahahahaha...craziness.
Hehehehehe..so I was bored, and took a picture of them!
C'mon!

What do you think? Do you switch the advert off when it comes on (or C'mon! That joke sucked...) or do you have a favourite?
Let me know.............................

Custard the canary is back!

by foliedevoix @ Sunday, 04. May, 2008 - 02:41:21 pm

I've finally got round to taking some pictures of Custard. The only one I have taken before was very blurry, and he was in the middle of flying across the cage when I took the picture. This one is a little bit better, and I thought I'd mention that:
1. I do not support Norwich, I just happen to own a canary,
2. Custard probably does support Norwich, as they are "The Canaries", but this has no reference to the picture!

Custard

He was actually sitting still for once, so I was quite lucky when I took it!

More photos coming soon...when I get the chance to take them!

Foliedevoix goes 100!

by foliedevoix @ Saturday, 03. May, 2008 - 05:32:45 pm

Apparently this must be my hundredth entry, as I've just looked and seen that I've written 99. Yay! I think people get telegrams from the Queen when they reach 100, but I don't even know what a telegram is!  Seriously, I have no idea, so there's no need to send me one!
Wow, so I guess the reason that I went shopping today was to celebrate being 100! Yes...bwahahaha...that will do as an excuse -COUGH!
As I was saying, I went shopping. Spooky, as usually, when it comes to shopping, I don't. It's cause nearly every brand new clothes shop I go into sells stuff way over a fiver for each item, which is really grrr!.   I don't buy it unless I really, really like it, or unless of course, it's something really unusual or cool...which I then go to eBay!
I've just watched I, Robot for the first time. I mean, it is sci-fi....and I love the Matrix and Torchwood and Red Dwarf (comedy sci-fi), so I wanted to see what it was like.
There's this phrase that I love right at the beginning where Will Smith says to this random man as he's about to chase after a robot: "Hold my pie. Either hold it or wear it!"   Yes, he really was eating a pie at the time in the film. Random phrases like that ROCK. Yay!

Exams are over for Folie...

by foliedevoix @ Friday, 02. May, 2008 - 07:39:13 pm

.....that's what kept me away from blog this week....exams. It was a bit pointless actually, seeing as they didn't even count towards anything - they were supposed to give us an idea of what we'd get if we sat a GCSE paper right now.  Most were OK.....the music paper today, well, that was plain weird. We had to lsiten to a CD and answer questions about the extracts it played. The last question we had to do was to answer questions about this extract that sounded as if someone had put a car underwater, driven it at 100mph with squeaky tyres, then slammed on some rusty brakes whilst bits of metal were hurled at it!  It was one of the weirdest things I've ever heard. Though another one was this song we were listening to in Music the other week was called "Oh Superman"....it was completely mental! Everyone was laughing at it, but I was sat there, listening and trying to work out if it was a recorded telephone conversation against someone going hah hah hah hah hah hah in the same tone.  It was funky!
Bwahahahahahahahaha....yay, random laughs.
I've been listening to O.M.D a lot recently......what exactly does O.M.D come under, music style anyway? It's great....the piano solos are fab, especially in Electricity. Speaking of music, for some reason there is a Leona Lewis advert on my group blog. AAAARGH! What are these adverts trying to tell people? I cannot stand Leona Lewis (no offense Leona), so this is very annoying.
Right,  I think I need to update my blog settings.

Have a very nice Friday everyone....I think I'll just watch TV. Hehehehehehehe....

A very funky day....

by foliedevoix @ Saturday, 26. Apr, 2008 - 07:50:27 pm

Wow, I've had such a good day today!
I started my day by going to the hairdressers and having my hair cut. It really needed it, and some of my family says it looks a bit like Molly's off Ghost - absolutely LOVE that film...brings me to tears at the end when Molly sees Sam and he disappears into the light..sniffle. Got carried away there, I'll put a picture up soon, then you can see what you think.
Second thing - I had the courage to go to the cinema with my friends. Being a very not-wanting-to-socialise-a-lot kind of person, this was a big thing for me. But I went. The film was weird...it was Meet The Spartans. It was the only thing on, it's not like I wanted to go and see it in particular or anything. Apparently it was based on a film called 300, which I've never seen. Some bits were funny, others were just disgusting and I think they took the "p" out of gay people, which wasn't very nice.
And I went shopping afterwards. It was great...and it means I can decorate some more t-shirts as it's creative, fun and I don't spend my time in front of the TV like some stereotype of what teenagers do these days. Where do these people who report this get their ideas about that, and the fact that teenagers are lazy and can't be bothered to get up in the mornings? Well, I am NOT lazy and as for my TV watching - I haven't been watching hardly anything, even Torchwood has had to remain in the DVD case recently. AAARGH! No Torchwood makes foliedevoix go...SANE! As the Simpsons said: "No TV and no beer make Homer go crazy" - that was my version of that.
Enjoy your Saturday!

Teacher strike!!

by foliedevoix @ Thursday, 24. Apr, 2008 - 09:04:04 am

OK, teacher strikes aren't anything to laugh about (unless they dress up in fancy dress and protest with ginormous cardboard signs, but I've never seen that!). But today, the year 10s get the day off because of it! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
Everyone in my year is supposed to be revising for exams we've got tomorrow and the following week, but they all said "NO!" and said they'll just sleep in all day.
Me? I'm blogging. (No? Really?) It helps me take my mind off the pile of homework and revision that I've got to do (later). There's so much stuff I'd like to do today.....like sitting down and reading some sci-fi book I got out of the library and listening to the Police. Personally, I think Message in a Bottle has got to be one of the best songs ever!
News from my creative side....I've been picked to play the part of the Friar for my drama club's version of Romeo and Juiliet, and I've got to sign it as I'm speaking. Apparently I get to wear some monk's costume...I hope it's probably less hot than the bunny one I wore a couple of weeks back. Hold on a sec, I played a VICAR bunny, and now they want me to be a FRIAR??? Spooky....and cue the Doctor Who music in the background (the Torchwood one is great but it's too upbeat for the spooky theme!). Soeaking of Doctor Who, what the HECK have they done to the new theme tune???   I heard the original 60s one last night on one of my family's records, and I thought "Yeah, it's cool, and so is that funky instrument in the background, it began with m or something". Then I remembered the one for the series with David Tennant and Freema Aygeman, that was OK. But this one with Catherine Tate?!? It's beginning to sound like some of the rubbish they spill out of a computer to put into the charts (except without rappers talking about drugs and rape and stuff).
I shall be off now to check out other people's blogs....I say this every week, but that's what I'm going to do.
